Photo Prayer: from Will Oxford

For better or worse my generation has moved away from keeping photos of our loved ones in our wallets. I think this mostly has to do with having access to every photo we've ever taken (or that anyone has ever taken) in the device that occupies whatever pocket our wallet isn't in. 

Our daycare requires everything belonging to our daughters be labeled with their names. At some point as a joke early on with our oldest daughter, I added one of these labels to my wallet. It's stayed there for almost 3 years getting a little more faded with the passage of time. What started as a joke turned into a kind of prayer, one I had to add my youngest daughter's label to. Praying for me is sometimes thanking God for all the blessings I've been given. Things that are so easy to forget in the daily grind of work and life.
