Art Exhibits at Trinity

We rejoice in the ability of art to reveal God through the experience of sublime beauty. Trinity’s interest in the fine arts has brought a number of themed exhibitions to the sanctuary of the church over the years.

Past Art Exhibits

2025-2026

Three groups used the panels and brackets that form the side aisle art gallery last year all three exhibits were assembled by Trinity Properties with great help from Trinity Sextons - the exhibits were formed with new boards and brackets provided by private donation:
“Sacred Forest” was a city-wide art exhibit that was woven into The Festival of Arts and Ideas by Curator/Artist Martha Willet Lewis, integrated into the Institute Zlibrary Schedule with a panel discussion. Sponsored with private donations: opening and closing celebrations were attended by many in the New Haven art community and the Saturday special Arts and sides Tour was a rousing success.
“Made to Create” was a collage art exhibit of Trinity's Children, Youth & Family Ministry coordinated by Director Angela Arpino. It showcased terrific works of children's and adult art during the summer.
The new Memorial window necessitated the removal of the Grisaille Window. Rather than pack them up 7 subdivided windows were put on display from September until August and then sold in an open effort to raise funds for the Organ Restoration Project. $5,800 was raised!
