Art Exhibits at Trinity

We rejoice in the ability of art to reveal God through the experience of sublime beauty. Trinity’s interest in the fine arts has brought a number of themed exhibitions to the sanctuary of the church over the years.

Upcoming Art Show:

Sacred Forest is an art exhibit that features the work of 10 contemporary artists and is a visual meditation on human interaction with our woodland landscapes. This exhibit includes handmade Sculpture, Assemblage, Drawing, Photography, Collage, Embroidery, Book-Arts and Painting in a glorious setting. Sacred Forest celebrates the arboreal nature of the gothic revival church surrounding the artwork, and reflects upon our history, relationships to our ecosystem and the ideas, thoughts and hopes surrounding the power of the forest environment. Participating Artists are: Nick Lamia, Marion Belanger & Martha Willette Lewis, Helen Scholtz, Natalia Petkov, Clymenza Hawkins, Maxim Schmidt, Scott Schuldt, Lesley Finn, Michelle Beaulieu Morgan, and Sarah Stengle.  A selection of them will be on hand to show you around and discuss the artistic processes behind the work, ask questions, and mingle in cool calm of the ambiance. Sacred Forest is curated by Martha Willette Lewis and is co-produced by The Gallery Upstairs at The Institute Library and Trinity on the Green. Sacred Forest will run from June 13-July 3 from 11:00am-2:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and from 7:45am to 2:00pm on Sundays.
