Photo Prayer: Doug House

Heavenly Father, our world today so often shows moments of injustice, cruelty, war, and the loss of innocent life. It can be so easy to question where you are among the events of these days. But then we see your hand at work in the simplest of ways, through the promise of new life. And we remember the words of Isaiah, "Behold, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" In this Season of Lent, may we discover the work of your hand in those simple ways that embrace and encourage our faith, both in harsher times as well as in easier ones. Amen.
