Sleeping Bag Drive: Success! Let’s keep it going!

Thanks to the generosity of this congregation, we were able to distribute over 100 waterproof, rated for 15-degree weather sleeping bags to our unhoused community members who are forced to sleep outdoors in brutal conditions due to a lack of room in shelters and warming centers. Every sleeping bag is a lifeline for one of our Chapel on the Green parishioners; because of the need, we plan to keep collecting new or gently used clean sleeping bags or donations so that we can purchase them in bulk.
