O Mothering God who makes all things exceedingly fruitful. Through the wombs of women you give rise to nations, through the deific milk of mothers you nourish your prophets and kings with Holy Wisdom, you have ordered this world so that every heart that beats sings a woman’s song! All life comes from the wombs of countless mothers, so you have ordained that from the womb of Sarah shall spring forth the new and abundant life of your faithfulness. Make us, children of Sarah, to be fruitful. So that we, becoming wombs of living grace, may birth new life into a world deadened by sin. Through Jesus Christ, who longs to gather us like a 

mother hen beneath her wings. Amen!
