Old and New Testament lessons of faith are offered to children in our community during the 10:30 AM Service. Children's Chapel Junior welcomes those 7 years old and younger; Senior invites those 8 years old and older to join us. Children are invited to come downstairs when the announcement is made and they return during the "Peace," in time for Holy Communion. Thank you to the volunteers who have stepped forward to help with this ministry as it grows! Presented by our Children, Youth & Family Ministry.

This Sunday, the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will impact road access and parking in and around downtown New Haven. This year, maps of the parade indicate that the parking ban will be in effect starting at 9am rather than 1pm as in previous years. Please take this into account as you plan for travel to and from Trinity on Sunday.
In the event that you do receive a parking ticket while parked at Trinity for worship, please take a photo of the ticket and send it to the Trinity office for reimbursement.
Please see the map below for further details:

Dear Trinity community,
We write to share some challenging news. Our Community Care Minister, Lisa Levy, was charged last Friday with state misdemeanor animal cruelty offenses. We have notified the Episcopal Church in Connecticut (ECCT) which is providing guidance. Lisa is represented by an attorney in her pending State case.
As we gather more information, we are placing Lisa on administrative leave. We are keeping Lisa in our prayers and all those impacted by this situation. This is a tragic situation, and we grieve it. As people of faith, we know that what God has made is sacred. As people whose lives are enriched by the companionship of animals, we know they must be treated with care, respect, and dignity.
We are mindful of the significant spiritual and emotional impact of this news on our community. Please be in touch with Rev. Luk or Rev. Heidi if you find yourself in need of a pastoral conversation.
Peace in Christ,
Rev. Luk De Volder
Rev. Heidi Thorsen
We regret to share that today’s service of choral evensong has been canceled. All are welcome at our Sunday morning services at 7:45am and 10:30am, and we anticipate evensong resuming on its normal schedule next week, March 5, at 5:30pm.
All are welcome at Woolsey Hall on March 3 at 7:30pm for the Degree Recital of Trinity's wonderful Organ Scholar, Nicholas Stigall. For more information please view the event page here.
With gratitude and joy, we’re thrilled to share that you have pledged $559,492.20 toward our 2026 Stewardship goal of $540,000, exceeding our goal by nearly $20,000.
This is more than a number. It is a resounding vote of confidence in Trinity on the Green’s mission and ministry.
Your generosity sustains:
Reverent, beautiful liturgy rooted in the depth and dignity of our Episcopal religious tradition.
Extraordinary music and artistic programming that lifts our worship and draws the wider community into this sacred space while nourishing our souls
Outreach ministries that serve our neighbors with compassion and dignity, living
out Christ's call to love one another
Children’s formation and family ministries that shape young lives in faith, curiosity, and belonging while building the future of our church
Because of you, Trinity continues to be a place of beauty, service, and deep spiritual grounding.
Thank you for your faithfulness, your sacrifice, and your love for this community.
All ages are welcome to join us in the Undercroft for Family Eucharist and Baptism at 10:35 AM. This shorter and interactive service offers an introduction to our Episcopal way of worship and includes key elements of our faith to spark joy for all. We will also be celebrating the baptism of Margot Harned, our first at Family Eucharist.
It is with much regret that I have been unable to arrange our February 2026 observance and celebration of Black History Month. Health is the unfortunate issue. I thank each of you who participated in our twenty-two years of observances. I hope you have found joy meanwhile in your independent reading of poems, short stories, novels, plays, non-fictional narratives, speeches, and historical and cultural texts written by African Americans--as well as having enjoyed the various musical forms and attended dramatic presentations during the month.
I give thanks to the choir director for continuing Trinity's first Sunday in February's tradition of singing the Negro National Anthem--"Lift Every Voice and Sing"--and for following up on the second Sunday in the month with the spiritual "This Little Light of Mine."
Blessings & Gratitude,
Eleanor Q. Tignor,
Director, African American Read-In

What is Encanto about?
The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift -- except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals' last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger. Note: Disney has assigned Encanto a PG rating due to its mild peril and thematic elements. This makes it suitable for most kids, but parents should consider individual sensitivities.
Join us for a tour and teaching this Sunday at 10 AM. Open to all ages. Trinity has a small room which houses many sacred items, especially those used during Holy Communion. Where is it? What does the “sacristan” do there? We’ll learn from one of Trinity’s Sacristans and help prepare the altar for Mass. Meet Angela in the Nave by the piano.
