For the last of our Thursday evening services in Lent, join the Parish Choir for a moving performance of John Stainer’s Passion-oratorio The Crucifixion. Modeled after Bach’s great Passions, Stainer sets the narrative of Holy Week with a tenor evangelist sung by our Director of Music, Simon Lee and the voice of Jesus sung by baritone Will Doreza. The congregation too has role in the singing of some of the great Lenten hymns including All for Jesus, and Cross of Jesus.
