Join us and the combined Choirs of Trinity on the Green for our annual celebration of the Festival of Christmas Lessons and Carols. This service was made famous by the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge (who will be performing at Trinity next April!) and millions of people tune in each Christmas Eve to hear it. This is your chance to experience it in person. The service starts by candlelight with the voice of a solo treble singing, “Once in royal David’s city”. From here we hear the whole story of Christmas, from the visit of the Angel Gabriel to Mary to the journey to Bethlehem to the birth of the Christ Child and the arrival of the Wise Men.

This will be a popular service so we advise you arrive in good time. Join us afterwards for a festive reception including mulled juice and mince pies!
