| The music for Go tell it on the mountain was composed by a member of the Trinity musical family, John R. Abdenour, a former Assistant Organist and Choirmaster of the parish. This setting was completed shortly after his tenure at Trinity, while he was serving as Director of Music at the First United Church of Christ in nearby Milford. Mr. Abdenour, a published composer, is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and now serves as Organist and Choirmaster of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Fairfield, Connecticut.
