Trinity Church is located in the heart of downtown New Haven, Connecticut. Since 1752, we have been serving Christ through others. Our location on the New Haven Green provides us with the opportunity to serve as a beacon of hope and reconciliation to all who enter our doors.

Trinity prides itself on a long history of welcoming all people into our community of faith. Our differing backgrounds, ethnicities and ages all draw us together into a community centered on God’s radical love. We offer a vast diversity of worship styles and programs that attract a variety of people.

We are a community that embraces questions and differing viewpoints and see this as a hallmark of the Episcopal (Anglican) tradition. We are a community that is rooted in tradition and is also open to where God is leading us today. We are constantly looking for new ways to serve God by serving our neighbors.

We pride ourselves on providing strong preaching, exquisite music and reaching out to those in need. The clergy attempt to connect the Gospel to the life and work of who we are as a community. Our music program is one of the oldest and most renown in Connecticut. We give over $80,000 to local charities as well as working in soup kitchens, Habitat for Humanity workdays and international and domestic mission trips.

We invite you to join us - pray, sing, serve others and learn with us - but most of all, we invite you to be open to the possibility that God loves you and created you for a purpose, and that you might discover that purpose here with us.
